NORWAY: How to reuse local materials?

The former owner of Bakkan maintained a large orchard with apple trees and some pear trees. Fruit tree branches were collected from the property years later. The branches are hard, which prevents it from rotting immediately. The black coating is fungus, while charcoal has been applied to newly cut surfaces on ther sculpture.
